    Scott Snyder anuncia su final con Batman

    El escritor Scott Snyder lleva años escribiendo en cómics de Batman, entre una serie y otra, sin embargo, su trayectoria con el murciélago podría llegar a su fin.

    Snyder se encuentra actualmente trabajar en el arco ‘The First Ally’junto al artista Rafael Albuquerque, y pensando en el arco que le seguirá desde hace tiempo. Sin embargo, según ha declarado recientemente,tras ese otro arco no habría más historias de Batman para Snyder.

    Entonces, sí… después de este arco con All-Star Batman, cuando tenga la historia con Sean, que es para la que he estado esperando durante tres años o más, esa bien podría ser la última historia de Batman que haga para Batman durante un tiempo. Es como la piedra angular de muchas cosas en las que he estado pensado con el durante los años.

    Snyder también describe ese último arco como una “historia de Mad Max Batman en el futuro”.

    Por el momento, no tenemos fecha concreta para esa etapa final del escritor sobre el icónico persona de DC.

    Concretamente, Snyder lanzó ‘All-Star Batman’ en agosto 2016 junto a John Romita Jr. tras pasar una etapa de cinco años con Batman en New 52.

    Nuevo equipo creativo para la serie de Wonder Woman a partir de setiembre

    Desde el comienzo de Rebirth el pasado mes de agosto, la serie regular de Wonder Woman, que se ha publicado con cadencia bimensual, ha contado con Greg Rucka como guionista de la misma pero a partir del número 26 que se publicará el mes que viene dirá adiós a la colección para ceder el testigo a Shea Fontana y Mirka Andolfo para un arco de cinco números. Cuando ellos terminen, la serie dará la bienvenida a un equipo creativo formado por tres componentes.

    Según podemos leer en Newsarama, James Robinson, Carlos Pagulyan y Emanuela Lupacchino participarán en la serie regular de la amazona a partir del número 31 con un nuevo arco titulado “Hijo de los Dioses”. Esta historia recuperará a Jason, el personaje que fue presentado en la Guerra de Darkseid y que es nada más y nada menos que el único hombre nacido en Themyscira y, en cierto modo, hermano de Wonder Woman.

    Esta nueva aventura durará seis números, desde setiembre hasta diciembre.

    Les dejamos con el comunicado de prensa de DC en el que se da una breve sinopsis del arco y la portada del número 31, obra de Bryan Hitch:

    Alejado de Themyscira en plena noche, el misterioso Jason (el único varón nacido en la isla) se ha estado escondiendo en algún lugar de la vista de dioses y hombres, pero su camino y el de Wonder Woman están a punto de cruzarse de forma terrorífica, enfrentándolos contra una amenaza cósmica que nunca habían imaginado.

    DC anuncia el crosover Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica
    ¿Cómo quedará Riverdale tras la visita de Ivy y Harley?

    Los crossover actuales de DC son muy diversos; por un lado están aquellos entre series regulares encaminadas a ir dando pasos con la trama – Superman Reborn, The Button– o evolución de Renacimiento– Liga de la Justicia vs Escuadrón Suicida, El Contrato de Lázaro. Por otro tenemos los que cruzan a los superhéroes de DC con los de la linea Hanna Barbera o Looney Tunes. Y también aquellos en los que se juntan los personajes de DCcon otros de otras editoriales, como son Green Lantern con El Planeta de los Simios o Star Trek, o la actual Batman y The Shadow. En este sentido se dirige el nuevo anunció de DC, en el que van a reunir a las féminas de Gotham y de Riverdale.
    Será el 4 de octubre de 2017, cuando se iniciará la publicación de la miniserie de 6 númerosHarley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica, con guiones de Marc Andreyko y Paul Dini y lápices deLaura Braga. En ella se narrará la historia de como Hiedra Venenosa covence a su amiga Harley para secuestrar a Veronica y a Betty, como consecuencia de un trasvase de los humedales de Gotham hacia Riverdale.
    Ante este anunció, Paul Dini ha señalado su gran entusiamo, indicando que siempre había querido tener la oportunidad de escribir sobre Riverdale y que Harley e Ivy fuesen allí “es un sueño hecho realidad.”

    Hal Jordan tiene un nuevo origen en Green Lantern: Earth One

    Linterna Verde es el último héroe de DC en sumarse a la línea Earth One de DC Cómics, en la que se producirá una reinvención del personaje. La pareja, en lo personal y en lo profesional, Corinna Bechko y Gabriel Hardman, junto a Jordan Boyd para el color, se encargarán de esta revisión del personaje de Hal Jordan, que se alejaría de su versión original.

    En la novela gráfica, veríamos a Jordan como un científico y astronauta que encuentra un anillo de poder y se pone en marcha para restaurar el Green Lantern Corps, que fueron extinguidos hace mucho tiempo por The Manhunters.

    Abordar esto como una historia de Earth One nos da la oportunidad de volver a la idea central de Green Lantern e interpretarla a través de la lente de una historia de ciencia ficción moderna y fundamentada, sin dejar de ser fiel a las raíces de la Edad de Plata de Hal Jordan -comenta Hardman-. Después de tener una narración interestelar, este es un enfoque con el que me siento cómodo y que he querido explorar en los cómics. La ciencia ficción realista es sólo el comienzo de esta historia, Tenemos algo mucho más épico guardado.

    La novela gráfica se lanzará en Estados Unidos el 20 de marzo de 2018.

    Vuelve Morrison a DC!!! Lamentablemente no hará ninguna serie regular hasta al momento. Pero seguira con Wonder Woman earth one y (¿era necesario?) con la secuela de ¡¡¡Arkham Asylum!!! que al parecer sucede en el medio de su run con Batman. Creo que antes de la saga con el club de los heroes.

    Frank Miller confirma Superman: Year One con John Romita Jr.

    En el panel de DC Master Class, en el que se han reunido los autores estrella de la editorial, Frank Miller hizo una aparición sorpresa para anunciar su próximo proyecto para la editorial. Pero su nueva aportación a DC no será con Batman, con quien regresó el año pasado para la tercera parte de “El regreso del caballero oscuro” sino para la otra punta de lanza… Superman.

    Miller colaborará con John Romita Jr. para realizar “Superman: Year One”, un cómic de 100 páginas que Miller llevaba queriendo hacer desde hace tanto tiempo que “hasta resultaba embarazoso”, lo describe como una oportunidad única en la vida. Avanzando el proyecto antes de confirmarlo oficialmente, Miller ha reafirmado lo que el título ya deja entrever:

    Tiene que ver con volver a ver los orígenes de cierto personaje de DC Comics que lleva gafas en su vida diaria.

    En declaraciones de hace unos meses quiso dejar claro que quería haceruna historia en la que Superman fuera el héroe total, no como en “El regreso del caballero oscuro” donde su caracterización era intencionada para realzar la figura de Batman.

    No se ha dado fecha de lanzamiento.

    Nuevo cómic de DC revela que Batman tenía súper poderes y cambia 78 años de historia

    La noticia de que Batman ahora tendrá súper poderes está dando la vuelta en internet y generando varias dudas entre los miles de fans del héroe de ciudad Gótica.


    Resulta que en el comic Suicide Squad #22 Amanda Waller incluye a Bruce Wayne en su lista de metahumanos, lo que sorprendió a todos, porque una de las características de Batman es que no posee súperpoderes. El escritor Max Machado publicó en www.vix.com que Rebirth borra la aptitud que lo transformó en leyenda.

    Además explicó que en la historieta se remontaban a la trama de Dark Days: The Casting, último issue introductorio a Dark Nights: Metal y primer trabajo en conjunto de la dupla Snyder/Capullo desde el New 52.

    Previo al inicio de Dark Nights: Metal —cómic en el que el Caballero de la Noche deberá enfrentarse a 7 versiones malvadas de sí mismo provenientes de realidades alternas—, cuenta que Green Lantern y Duke Thomas descubren a Joker encerrado en la Batcave. El Príncipe Payaso del Crimen no pierde tiempo y engaña a los héroes para poder escapar; pero, increíblemente, dice la verdad al momento de revelar el verdadero plan de Batman: descubrir el secreto del Dionesium, el metal que le salvó la vida.

    En ese mismo capítulo del Cómic se da a conocer que issue #12 acompaña a Batman mientras se infiltra en la guarida de Bane y usa cada viñeta de forma excepcional el autor genera movimiento y acción, junto a sensaciones de adrenalina que nos hacen pensar, "definitivamente, esto es algo que Batman haría".     No, Batman no tendrá superpoderes
    Los escritores Scott Snyder y Rob Williams se refirieron a la polémica categorización del murciélago como "metahumano" en el más reciente cómic de Suicide Squad.

    El hecho de que Batman fuese definido como metahumano en el más reciente número de Suicide Squad despertó la alerta entre varios fans. Aunque la historia podía ser leída como un paso lógico para preparar el camino para el evento Dark Nights: Metal escrito por Scott Snyder, ya que técnicamente el hombre murciélago fue llevado a su mejor nivel físico durante su etapa en Batman gracias al misterioso químico dionesium, ahora es el propio escritor quien se refirió a la polémica.

    Sin hablar por el cómic de Suicide Squad, pero Batman no es meta. El obtiene poderes para historias (como Darkseid War), pero nunca ha sido metahumano en su naturaleza“, dijo ante la errada pregunta de un fan, quien le consultó respecto a si el murciélago haría uso de sus “nuevos superpoderes” en la próxima macrosaga de DC Comics que se encargará de escribir. Pero Suicide Squad nunca estableció que Batman tenía poderes, sino que Weller lo veía como metahumano.

    Al respecto, el escritor Rob Williams, quien se encargó del número deSuicide Squad, aclaró que todos están sobreleyendo su historia. “La gente está leyendo más de la cuenta en esto. El objetivo de Waller en la actual historia es encerrar a todos los superhumanos, incluido Batman… Ya sea si Batman tiene poderes o no, no le importa. Dada sus acciones y cómo dirige La Liga de la Justicia, es un blanco“, recalcó.

    Tomando en cuenta las palabras de Williams, en definitiva la jede del Escuadrón Suicida simplemente está metiendo al hombre murciélago en el mismo saco del resto debido a su rol en La Liga de la Justicia.

    Sin embargo, el tema nunca habría salido a colación si su guión no hubiese catalogado a Batman como un metahumano, ya que para muchos fans la gran característica del guardián de Gotham es que es “un simple humano” sin habilidades especiales, salvo las que él mismo se forjó tanto física como intelectualmente.
